June is Pride month. Now celebrated around the world. For my post this week, I am reading about PRIDE on the internet. C-19 might make celebrations this year less grand but it doesn’t mean we can’t find ways to express ourselves or show our support.
A comprehensive history and timeline on PRIDE MONTH is available at NATIONAL TODAY. I realize I knew snippets about it mostly from celebrations over the years and conversations with friends like Gavin who took me to lunch at HARVEY’S in San Francisco. (Oh, the garlic fries!) Harvey’s is dedicated to the memory of the late Harvey Milk who had a camera shop down that very Castro Street. NEWNOWNEXT has facts you may not know about Harvey Milk.

Some cool things I have found on the net:

I honestly don’t know how to feel that Victoria Beckham’s Listen Without Prejudice t-shirt is sold out. On one hand, it’s out of my budget for a t-shirt (especially when I can have unwanted silver fish visitors or my jeans’ buttons can wear out a hole on really good cotton rather easily) but I still want to wear it with pride . I have always loved George Michael; his songs, his voice and his words. And I love Victoria Beckham, her designs, her style, her attitude. Revisit my first post ever which is about a visit to the Victoria Beckham London flagship store here. Naturally I love this t-shirt.
Skittles are usually colored to match taste of strawberry, lemon, green apple, orange and grape but trying these all gray ones made me focus more on each flavor. SKITTLES PRIDE!

I am especially proud that New York-based artist and illustrator Justin Teodoro is a cousin. While we share the same great-grandparents, Justin grew up in Vancouver while I was raised in Manila so his talents definitely did not rub off on me. I’m a fan.
Discover Justin Teodoro.
Lastly, I found another sneaker KOIO Love is Love.
This post really made me happy.
