Still stuck at home so the closest to feeling the holiday season is to decorate. My neighbors are really going all out this year. And I have to admit, the lights and displays really do boost the mood and spirit.
Just as I was writing this post, the loveliest thing happened. Our neighbors Blake and Jeff pulled up in their truck and unloaded a candy cane arch. They made these themselves to decorate our walkways. The most amazing thing is, we hadn’t met Blake and Jeff before. But we had seen the candy cane arches they made for their walkway and gave to other neighbors and we said we loved them to another neighbor. “For me?” I think, I squealed like a kid as I got a warm and fuzzy feeling. So I got on Amazon and ordered some more lights.
Things are getting very merry and bright.
It is cold even in California. Winter is here! But for the first time, I feel that I am certain spring is coming in 2021. I think you all know what I mean when I say I took many things for granted before and now I have a greater appreciation of all the freedoms we had and hopefully will soon enjoy again. But while I wait for these, I would just like to share some things that may give you a holiday feeling.
