The Course is by Instructor Laurie Santos
When it comes to betterment in the homebound state, I might as well start at the top. This Yale University Course is the most popular course is the University’s history. Now, you can take the 10 week course for free at Coursera. Wow! The course has 44 million views on Coursera.
I signed up along with 600,000 others this month. Clearly I am not alone in wanting to make the most of my time at home. A 10 minute video on boosting well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic was recently added making this even more timely. You can pay $49 dollars if you want a certificate. But even if you don’t pay you get the same course including all the course material. The Course takes approximately 20 hours to complete.
Week 1: Watched introductory and welcome videos. Laurie Santos is quite likable and I can see myself enjoying the way she communicates and structures this course. Then I went through the first online materials including a 10 Week Workbook to print out which even included pages for journalling. Sure you can binge-watch the course and complete the 20 hours faster than 10 weeks but they recommend working on the material on a daily/weekly basis for the best result.
Course by Week:
- Week 1. Signature Strengths

Maybe we can take the course together.
